- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Have been trying to get Pete, who handles claims for this store to process my claim since mid- October 2015. I have called this store 11. times and UPS Claims Dept 3 times. UPS Claims Department advises they are waiting for paperwork from Plainfield store since claim was issued, 26 Sept. Called Pete for status 08 October. On 09 October Pete told me to scan paperwork and send it to him. I did that day. Called Pete on 14 & 24 December, no response. On 28th December I called Pete & he said he'd take care of it that week. It's now three weeks since that call AND over 3 months since the claim was issued. Today, 1/16/16 UPS Claims suggested Pete "make a Conference Call and stop this run-around". It is a good thing Pete isn't working for me or he would be on parole now. It's absurd that this store's claims jurisdiction employee cannot simply forward the paperwork in over 3 months. I have sent Pete everything he requested on 09 October 2015. If they had a 0 star I'd issue it for Pete & and his supervisor. Still waiting for Pete to make their promised return calls and the promised claim processing - waiting? waiting? waiting? Update: It is now 26 May 2016 and "Pete" has still done NOTHING regarding my valid and properly filed claim (confirmed by UPS's Claims Department). He apologized for his inaction and told me on 28 Dec 2015 he'd take care of it by the end of that week. He has done Noting. If you check his website you will see a rating of 3.1 of 5, the lowest I have ever seen on-line for ANY business anywhere.
